POWER SET and Robotics Teams Compete at Coastal Bend Engineering Competition

October 12, 2017

On Friday, October 6th, 2 teams including 5 POWER SET and 4 WIT members of "Robosharks" competed at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the Coastal Bend Engineering Competition. The name of the game was binary. Teams had to use both physics and their knowledge of binary numbers to land a pool ball sent through a large, cardboard tube inside the right binary message section. Numbers for the binary message section were chosen by spinning a roulette wheel. Although the teams competed well, they did not place at the event, but did learn a valuable lesson: even when you test something over and over, the results are never guaranteed.
