Malaysian Delegation Visited TAMU

During the week of February 19, the Nuclear Power Institute hosted visitors from Malaysia. The Malaysian delegation included representatives from two universities and an organization that sponsors education in the country and abroad. NPI Expert Visits Nigeria and Thailand

Dr. John W. Poston, Sr., Associate Director of NPI, traveled to Bangkok, Thailand to participate in the "International Conference on Nuclear Human Resource development in Asia and Pacific - the Role of Nuclear HRD after Fukushima Accident." Nucleargraduates Receive Technical Training at TAMU

Nucleargraduates has been networking with Texas A&MUniversity for over two years now through the International Framework for Nuclear Energy Cooperation's (IFNEC, formerly the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership) six-monthly Infrastructure Development Working Group. Van Vleck ISD Students Learn About Nuclear Power from Author

Although students in Van Vleck ISD know of friends and relatives who work at the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company (STP), few of them really understand how electricity is generated at a nuclear power plant.
