Multidisciplinary Experiences for Undergraduates

The Dwight Look College of Engineering and the office of Engineering Student Services and Academic Programs (ESSAP) coordinate the Multidisciplinary Experiences for Undergraduates (MEU) program. Participating in MEU gives undergraduate engineering students an opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary team projects that provide experiential learning thru real world projects, allows students to acquire engineering skills beyond their major by interacting with students from other engineering majors, and provides professional development that better prepares them for their engineering careers.

Engineering faculty support the student teams with technical guidance and mentoring while industry/government engineers provide additional support through regular interactions with the students. Each team project is designed for one academic year and projects may continue for several years.
